Beowulf Biography!
Beowulf was Geat, son of Egetho and nephew of Higlac. He was the king of the Geats and Higlac was both Beowulf's feudal lord and his uncle. Beowulf is a powerful warrior who comes to the aid of the Danish king Hrothgar, whose hall is raided each night by the hideous man-eating monster Grendel. Beowulf slays Grendel and then Grendel's angry mother, and rules as king of the Geats until he himself is slain in battle with a dragon. Beowulf was very confident, he knew from the start that he was the perfect warrior to fight Grendel. Beowulf was also very self motivated. Even though others were jealous and had doubts in him, he believed in himself and didn't let what they said bring him down.
